One of the things I have learnt is that my attitude in life will help me or will destroy me.
From small day to day situations to big problems the way we behave and deal with our possibilities makes a big difference in our life.
It would be easy to say that we can always change our situations and improve our life but honestly, I do not totally agree with that.
There are times in life when everything is hard, painful and difficult.
Times in which we’d rather stay in bed than get up and face the new day, times in which we feel emotions such as frustration, lack of motivation or sadness.
Those are the moments in which we need a smile on our face and a positive attitude.
But, what can we do?
To me there are four elements that create a positive attitude
- Gratitude. From a 5 minutes shower to the best time with a friend. Be grateful.
- Humility. We are just human beings, we are all passing through this life and no one is more than any other person. Moreover, we can be up and down in just one second.
- Open Mind. Our little box, our perspective of life and, especially, our desires are just a small group of possibilities. Open your mind and dive into new worlds.
- Responsibility. Overall, have in mind that if life is a book you are the author of your own one.
Is that all?
Well, I think it is a first step. Practice and experiment it. After all, it is nothing to lose.
